The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (IR&A) serves the college by providing high-quality, meaningful information and analyses needed to make data-driven decisions, build a culture of evidence, and to manage college operations effectively. The department is a resource for continuous improvement through:
Assessment
Collaborates, guides, and provides resources for intentional assessment practices to encourage a college-wide culture of evidence. The primary goal is to strengthen the quality of Aims' programs, services, operations, and processes, ultimately enhancing student learning, development, and success.
Institutional Research
Works collaboratively with all college community members in collecting, analyzing and distributing data and information to support institutional management, operations, decision-making, planning and external reporting functions. The office assists with systematically evaluating all areas of the college to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the institution.
