Aims Community College to Host Spring Commencement Ceremonies

Aims Community College will celebrate graduating students on Friday, May 12 in the Aims Welcome Center, 4901 West 20th St. in Greeley.

A ceremony for students in Allied Heath, Public Safety and Transportation is at noon. A second ceremony for Arts & Sciences and Business Technology graduates is at 5 p.m. 

Below are a few facts about Aims students participating in the Spring 2023 commencement:  

  • 435 students will take part in the official ceremonies
  • Graduates range in age from 15 to 65
  • 965 students graduated or are potentially graduating
  • 1,410 credentials are being awarded or potentially awarded (students may get multiple credentials)
  • The following are to be awarded:
    • 292 Associate of Arts Degrees
    • 30 Associate of Science Degrees
    • 20 Associate of General Studies Degrees
    • 168 Associate of Applied Science Degrees
    • 900 Certificates

“Commencement is about celebrating what our students have already achieved, but about looking ahead with excitement about what they will accomplish next,” said Dr. Leah L. Bornstein, Aims Community College CEO and president. “I’m extremely proud of our amazing Aims students.”


Commencement Event Information

Seating for the live ceremony in the auditorium is limited. Overflow seating is available in the Welcome Center Ballroom. When attending in person, please note the following: 

  • no food 
  • clear bags only 
  • clear water bottles only
