Aims Grads Begin The Next Chapter

As Aims students graduate, they mark the end of one adventure and the beginning of another. The theme for the Spring 2023 Commencement is “the next chapter.”

Aims 2023 Grads in a Grid

The stories of our lives, just like the books we read, are filled with many chapters. These are the stories within our larger life stories — with one plot line leading to another.

Read a collection of student spotlights on their Aims journey and plans for the future.

Congratulations to the class of 2023!

My experience at Aims was amazing! I was given many resources to help me through each semester and had some amazing professors who cared about their students. My plans are to transfer to the University of Northern Colorado and double major in Sport and Exercise Science and Psychology.

The Aims Ag department has encouraged me to grow in my career pathway. I want to share my passion (almost obsession) for this industry with our youth. I will be attending Colorado State University to obtain my bachelors degree in Agricultural Education.

Aims gave me a chance to break out of my comfort zone at my own pace. My ambassador team in Pathway Advising has pushed me through countless boundaries of personal growth. I hope to continue as a Health Sciences & Biology undergrad at the University of Northern Colorado.

My Aims experience has been absolutely amazing. I always recommend Aims and especially their nursing program because the campus is lovely, the faculty is kind and caring, and it feels like a second home overall. After graduation, I will take my NCLEX and become a registered nurse. I plan on being an ICU nurse one day.

Aims is family. Treat it like one. The whole community is helping us succeed. I will be a novice nurse in acute care and I will finish my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UNC in less than a year from now.

The faculty and staff have absolutely helped me along my journey at Aims. Every instructor really showed me what it’s like working with a team. I'm interested in psychology, but I knew I didn’t want to be a therapist but that I wanted to help people in some way. I feel like human services is a great route for me.

There are not enough words and not enough gratitude that I can give and show to the people here at Aims. The faculty and staff here at Aims helped me navigate not only my educational aspirations but also my personal aspirations. I am looking forward to continuing on in my education.

Aims has such a welcoming environment that I knew I needed to be a part of. People here are so kind and everyone’s intentions are so pure. I am looking forward to continuing my education at the University of Northern Colorado. I am so excited to see what the Human Services pathway has to offer.

I have been blown away by the nursing faculty here at Aims. All are compassionate and have a drive to see their students succeed. I have been amazed by all the resources Aims offers its students. I'm hoping to enroll in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in the fall to complete my educational journey.

I had an unparalleled experience at Aims. Not only the facility itself but the tuition was so affordable, the education I received was in-depth and the benefits were unmatched. I'm starting my career on the Surgical Trauma ICU at University Hospital in Denver. After I work here, I'm considering going back to get my Doctorate in Nursing Anesthesia Practice.

I preach to others that are considering nursing school to get everyone to apply here and the faculty is a huge reason. They are so supportive and truly want everyone to succeed here. I’m looking forward to starting my career in the emergency department and getting to focus on my family more.

Aims has been one of the most amazing experiences in my life! The environment, by far, was the key to my success. Great peers and connections with many different options for inclusion. As well as the most amazing professors a student could ask for. I'm off to Colorado State in the fall for round two of my education journey.

My Aims experience was really positive and welcoming. The biggest thing about my experience is self-growth, Aims taught me more about myself than anything and gave me the opportunity to be a professional. I'm looking forward to finishing a real estate certificate and getting my real estate license and starting classes at UNC to get my bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
