  • Learn the eight key areas of professional knowledge working with children from birth to age eight (and their families) in early care and education settings. Continue with an exploration of classroom management and pro-social skills development of young children in an ECE program.
  • Expand your knowledge and skills gained in the basic early childhood teacher certificate, and with additional work experience, you’ll have the chance to meet state certification requirements to become an Early Childhood Teacher in Colorado. Study early childhood education techniques, guidance strategies, curriculum development and more.
  • Economics

    Associate of Arts
    Study the national economy and its business cycles and trends, how macroeconomic performance is measured. Learn about public policy, market models, money, banking and trade and how individuals effect the macroeconomic role of the public sector. This is a liberal arts degree with designation (DWD).
  • Learn about automotive electrical systems and how to troubleshoot and repair them, along with a lab course to apply your skills. Gain skills in basic auto electricity, electrical safety systems, and starting and charging systems.
  • Explore sound as storytelling with courses on sound design and MIDI. Learn to set up a music technology workstation and design sound at a professional level.
  • Elementary Education

    Associate of Arts
    Learn education and child development principles, how to design curriculum that integrates technology and general requirements that prepare you to complete your bachelor's degree at a four-year school. Practicum supplements coursework with hands-on classroom experience under the supervision of experienced personnel at the education facility and with the direct guidance of the instructor. This is a liberal arts degree with designation (DWD).
  • Emergency Medical Services

    Associate of Applied Science
    The Aims EMS associate degree program provides a strong career foundation to build upon to become a paramedic or firefighter. Take your desire to help people in your community and earn a degree that can make you more marketable to potential employers.
  • This fifteen-week EMT certificate program prepares you to become a basic EMT. Learn anatomy and physiology and how to assess and treat medical and trauma emergencies.
  • Emergency medical responders are entry-level EMS providers. The emergency medical responder certificate combines classroom training and an internship to teach you basic emergency lifesaving interventions while awaiting an additional EMS response.
  • If you are an EMT or AEMT, the paramedic preparation certificate prepares you to apply for the Aims paramedic certificate program. Study EMT fundamentals, medical and trauma emergencies, IV/IO therapy, and basic anatomy and physiology.
