For the Fall 2024 term, students have two different options for tutoring, open drop-in hours or appointments. Open drop-in hours are available on the Greeley campus in Student Commons 201, Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Subjects available are math up through at least Calculus I, any writing, and academic coaching. Math and writing open drop-in hours are also available on the Fort Lupton campus on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. No appointment is needed; students can just come in to study and work on assignments, and a tutor will be walking around and answering questions. Students can come in for a quick question or stay throughout the open hours.
Tutoring and academic coaching is also available virtually by appointment online or by scheduling on the Greeley Campus in Student Commons 201. Academic Coaching can assist students with reading and study skills in any subject in addition to helping with goal setting, time management, and organization. Bilingual tutoring in Spanish is available for writing and academic coaching.
Day, evening, and weekend options are available for appointments, but if you can’t find a time that works for you, please contact us at tutoring@aims.edu and we’ll see what we can do.
For the first week of the semester, only open drop-in tutoring hours will be available; appointments will start the second week of the semester.
We’re excited to help you with all of your academic needs!
How to Schedule a Tutoring or Coaching Session:
- Go to your MyApps dashboard.
- Click on “Accudemia.”
- Click on “Schedule Appointment” to set up a 30 or 60 minute session for academic coaching or for the subject you want tutoring.
