How to Access the Student Job Board: Students, Staff, Alumni and Faculty
All current Aims students have access to the online Student Job Board. You can access the job board (blue "Jobs" icon) via MyApps in Okta, which can be found in the red MyAims dropdown menu at the top right of the Aims website.
Through Handshake, you can discover employers and apply for opportunities like on and off-campus student employment, part- and full-time external positions, and non-credit internships.
Other helpful features:
- Discover relevant local and regional jobs, non-credit internships, and volunteer opportunities
- Schedule interviews and informational chats with employers, or send direct messages
- Be the first to know about internal and external career-related fairs and events
- Read company reviews written by your peers

Searching for on or off-campus student employment (work-study) positions?
- You must first file a FAFSA, indicate interest in the work-study program, and be awarded work-study on your financial aid award letter prior to applying for work-study positions.
- Follow the instructions above for accessing the online student job board.
- Once logged in, click on "Jobs" in the upper left corner, then select "All filters" in the middle-top of page, in the pop-out window check "Work Study."
- The search results will list all open on and off-campus student employment/work study positions available.

To hire a student employee, Aims faculty and staff are required to use the online Aims Student Job Board. As employers, you will have the autonomy to create and edit your postings on your time. The final job posting will be approved and published by the Office of Student Employment.
- Create a Handshake employer account using your Aims email address.
- Review the Faculty and staff training materials for further instructions.
All former Aims students have 24/7 access to the online Student Job Board where you can:
- Discover relevant local and regional jobs and volunteer opportunities
- Schedule interviews and informational chats with employers, or send direct messages
- Be the first to know about internal and external career-related fairs and events
- Read company reviews written by your peers

- If you are accessing the Student Job Board for the first time, you will need to create a new account.
- As an alum, your Aims email address is deactivated one year after you are no longer an active student. After that date, you will need to register with a personal email address.
- Final approval of your account is completed by Career Services and may take up to two business days.
