Bob’s graduate work was in the field of space and magnetospheric physics where he built instrumentation for launch on NASA-sponsored sounding rocket experiments in the polar ionosphere. After graduate school, Bob worked as a test engineer at Alliant Techsystems, a space scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory on a small satellite project, and as a satellite engineer at General Dynamics. Bob has taught physics, math and astronomy since 2003 both online and on-campus for a number of colleges and universities.
Bob enjoys working on his own science projects, riding his motorcycle and the Colorado outdoors. He lives in Berthoud with his wife and kids.
