Professional Background

Bob’s graduate work was in the field of space and magnetospheric physics where he built instrumentation for launch on NASA-sponsored sounding rocket experiments in the polar ionosphere. After graduate school, Bob worked as a test engineer at Alliant Techsystems, a space scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory on a small satellite project, and as a satellite engineer at General Dynamics. Bob has taught physics, math and astronomy since 2003 both online and on-campus for a number of colleges and universities.

Personal Interests

Bob enjoys working on his own science projects, riding his motorcycle and the Colorado outdoors. He lives in Berthoud with his wife and kids.
