Professional Background

Cross-trained in cultural, biological and archaeological anthropology, Eden focused her graduate studies on the archaeology of Ancestral Puebloans in the Southwest. Her broader knowledge base includes native and other American ethnic groups, along with a deep understanding of human history, cultures and social patterns.

Personal Interests

Playing in dirt is a common theme in Eden’s life - whether through professional fieldwork, gardening or restoring earthen structures. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling and learning about the world. As a lifelong learner, she thinks it’s especially satisfying when students share new things with her!
