Professional Background

George Solomon currently serves as the Director of EMS and Disaster Preparedness for the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). Prior to ACEP, Mr. Solomon was the Manager of EMS Education for one of Colorado’s largest ambulance service providers and has been in public safety for almost 20 years. His experience includes Fire/Rescue, 9-1-1, Critical Care Transport, EMS Management, and Educational Leadership. Mr. Solomon holds advanced certifications in firefighting, hazmat, rescue and incident command. Additionally, Mr. Solomon is a certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C), Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) and Tactical Paramedic (TP-C).

Personal Interests

Before entering public safety, Mr. Solomon was a music performance major as a percussionist and was a featured soloist starting at the age 14, where he played with various bands and orchestras. Mr. Solomon enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys and is passionate about traveling. He travels internationally multiple times a year with his wife where they visit various different countries around the world.
