Professional Background

Jared has had a dedicated career in law enforcement for 11 years and is currently serving as a Police Sergeant for the Windsor Police Department. He obtained his Colorado POST certification after completing the police academy in 2012. Prior to his years in Windsor, Jared was a Police Officer for the Estes Park Police Department. Throughout his career in law enforcement, he has performed many duties including; Field Training Officer, SWAT Operator, Defensive Tactics Instructor, DUI enforcement, and many more. 

Pursuing his passion for teaching, Jared graduated with his Master of Science degree in Criminology in 2016. He began teaching at Aims Community College in 2018 and enjoys the interactions he gets to have with his students as they advance toward their professional ambitions. 

Personal Interests

Jared enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter during his free time. He enjoys taking family trips with their camper around the U.S.
