Educational Background

She earned her B.A. in English from the State University of New York at Oswego and her M.A. in English from the College of Staten Island.

Professional Background

Kendra Griffin has been teaching at Aims since 2008. She teaches Basic Composition, Composition I and II, Introduction to Literature, Children’s Literature, and Creative Writing I and II. Kendra serves as an advisor for the Creative Writing Club and the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). She was the recipient of the 2016 Faculty of the Year and 2016 Club Advisor of the Year Awards.
