Professional Background
Ray began his career in higher education in 2018 as an Advisor for the Greeley Dream
Team. In 2019, he switched over to work for Educational Talent Search at Colorado
State University serving students all over northern Colorado as an Advisor. It was during
his time at Talent Search that Ray discovered his passion for helping students achieve
their goals and the importance of accessibility in education. In 2023, Ray became a
success coach for the SOAR program at the University of Northern Colorado, serving
different student populations through holistic advising, and mentoring. Ray joined the
Aims2UNC team in 2026 to continue to support students and help them navigate
through the challenges they may encounter.
Personal Interests
Ray is born and raised in Greeley. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends,
playing basketball, video games, collecting Pokémon cards, cooking, and working out
so he can continue eating tasty food.
