Professional Background

I have more than four decades of experience in commercial aviation, including aircraft maintenance, inspection, technical leadership, quality oversight and instruction. My career has included roles as an Aircraft Mechanic, Lead Mechanic, Aircraft Inspector, Maintenance Instructor, Senior Maintenance Instructor, Maintenance Control Supervisor and Maintenance Control Instructor.

Throughout my career, I have worked on a wide range of Boeing, Airbus and McDonnell Douglas aircraft, gaining extensive experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection and operational support.

My professional highlights include inspecting new aircraft deliveries in Hamburg, Germany, overseeing in-flight entertainment installation programs, participating in aircraft test flights and supporting the opening of new airline stations in the United States and Mexico. I have also completed numerous Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) recovery assignments, helping return aircraft to service domestically and internationally.

These experiences have strengthened my commitment to aviation safety, technical excellence and mentoring the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals.

Personal Interests

Outside of aviation, I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter and our four energetic dogs. I love traveling, discovering great food and music, and exploring the country in our Airstream travel trailer.

Two of my most memorable aviation experiences include flying aboard the British Airways Concorde at twice the speed of sound and attending the final launch of Space Shuttle Columbia at Cape Canaveral.
