Aims Community College Recognized for Outstanding Events

Aims Community College recently won an award for its Spotlight Speaker Series, a four-part program that brought world-class thought leadership and transformative dialogue to Northern Colorado.The Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International named Aims the winner of the Outstanding Institutional Achievement Award for a Single Event.

National Group Gives Aims College Gold for Veteran Care

Aims Community College was recognized as a Gold-Level Military Friendly School, earning the 2026-2027 designation. Military Friendly is a group that rates companies, businesses and colleges for their accommodation of veterans.

At Aims Community College in Windsor, a newly FAA-approved curriculum offers students a shorter — and affordable — path to the in-demand positions. The FAA recently approved a beefed-up curriculum designed to fast-track candidates into a job so in-demand that the agency estimates it will fill nearly 7,000 positions over the next three years.

With a soaring score and a story centered on acceptance and connection, “Side Show” explores what it means to belong.

Aims Community College will open its annual student art show on April 10 at its Loveland campus, featuring work from students across multiple disciplines.

Weld County Agriculture was on Display at Aims Ag Day

Families got a chance to see life on the farm up close March 31 as Aims Community College’s Fort Lupton school hosted its annual Ag Day. The attendees learned about modern agricultural practices and connected with industry professionals. Families visited the agricultural sciences greenhouse and classrooms, met with faculty and students and took part in a variety of enjoyable and educational activities hosted by Aims departments and community partners.

Aims Speaker Series Draws Award from National Group

Aims Community College received an award for its Spotlight Speaker Series, which features notable speakers from various industries. The Spotlight Speaker Series was designed to provide unique, high-impact experiences for Aims students and the broader community. “To see the vision of the Spotlight Speakers Series rewarded on an international stage is a testament to the team’s dedication,” said Christina Edwards, Director of Aims Events.

In Colorado, Aims Community College Marks Milestone

Aims held a beam-signing ceremony this week to mark a milestone in the construction of the Aims Workforce Innovation Center. Located on the northeast end of Aims Greeley Campus and scheduled to open late fall 2026, the AWIC is designed to fuel innovation and connect industry with education.

Registration Opens for Aims’ College for Kids Summer Program Across Northern Colorado

Registration for Aims Community College’s summer program, College for Kids, is now open. It is open to children ages 9-12. College for Kids takes place in Loveland, Fort Lupton, Windsor and Greeley.
