Aims Community College will offer free tax preparation and e-filing assistance beginning next month. Individuals and households that made less than $70,000 in 2025 can receive assistance from IRS-certified Aims students and community volunteers.

Aims offers free tax preparation and e-filing assistance through the Tax Help Colorado program. Individuals and households with annual incomes of less than $70,000 in 2025 can participate at no cost and receive assistance.

Aims Announces First Tenant of Workforce Innovation Center

Aims Community College has secured a five-year partnership with Alquist 3D, establishing the concrete printing company as the first industry tenant at the Aims Workforce Innovation Center. (AWIC).

Aims Community College is offering free tax assistance through the Tax Help Colorado program, with e-filing beginning in February. Tax preparation will be available at three sites, in Greeley, Loveland and Fort Lupton.

Aims hosted a workshop last year featuring short films created by female veterans. The Patton Veterans Project uses collaborative filmmaking as a therapeutic filmmaking tool for veterans.

New Year, New Skills

Aims' continuing education program offers the opportunity to learn and explore new topics on its campuses. Classes cost as little as $12 and span a wide breadth of topics, from arts and culture to health and wellness. Options range from single-day workshops, like making Japanese desserts, to more intensive programs, like professional dog training.

Aims Community College Achieves Part 147 Certification and Launches New Hiring Pathway

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has officially given Part 147 certification to Aims, alongside the school’s launch of a new hiring pathway. Frontier Airlines partners with Aims for a hiring pathway agreement, finalized on December 16, which offers a signing bonus of $25,000 to graduates who qualify.

FAA Gives Nod for Colorado Aircraft Maintenance Program

Aims Community College said Wednesday that it has secured FAA certification for its Aircraft Maintenance Technician program, set to begin in January 2026. The designation makes Aims an official Part 147 aviation maintenance school, authorizing it to deliver the training required for students to test for their Airframe and Powerplant licenses.

Aims Community College has sworn in new and re-elected members of its Board of Trustees. Marilyn Schock, representing District C, is a re-elected member. New members are Rhonda Solis in District D and Marcella Mieczkowski in District E.
