Spotlight Speaker Series | Dr. Myron Rolle | February 4 |7 p.m. | Welcome Center Miller Auditorium | Greeley Campus
Dr. Myron Rolle is a Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital-trained neurosurgeon serving as the current Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellow at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He is a Rhodes Scholar, best-selling author, former All-American at Florida State University, and former National Football League player for the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers. In this moving and inspiring talk, Dr. Myron Rolle offers a transformational perspective on leadership. He shares how, as a young man, reading authors like Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela, Malcolm X, W. E. B. Du Bois, Booker T. Washington, and Ben Carson made a huge impression on him and provided a foundation for him to think of himself as a future leader.

Aims Community College's Communication Media department is inviting bands to audition for a chance to have a live recording made with top-grade video and audio, produced by experienced professionals and talented students in training. If selected, live studio performances will take place between March 23-27. The priority date for registration is February 13.

Jesse Hoyle: How to Forget Exhibit | Open Until March 11 | Ed Beaty Hall Gallery | Greeley Campus
Working with silk-screened red clay mud layered onto photographs, textiles, and site-specific installations, Hoyle explores memory, family history, and the uneasy space between preserving the past and letting it go. The exhibition takes a non-linear approach to the archive, compressing time and experience to question what we choose to remember—and what we’re willing to release in pursuit of personal freedom. Pop into the gallery and check it out.
