Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast | October 31 | 7 p.m. | Ed Beaty Hall Theater| Greeley Campus
Aims Delta Psi Omega is performing a Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast on Halloween Night. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the ultimate cult-classic that’s been thrilling audiences for nearly 50 years. Follow sweethearts Brad and Janet as a flat tire leads them to a mysterious castle and into the wild, campy, and unapologetically outrageous world of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a “sweet transvestite” scientist with a flair for the dramatic and a creation of his very own. Part sci-fi send-up, part glam-rock musical and 100% outrageous fun, it’s a celebration of freedom, desire and not taking life too seriously. But we’re not just showing the movie—we’re bringing it to life with a live shadowcast performance! A shadowcast is when a troupe of performers acts, lip-syncs, and dances in sync with the film, right in front of the screen, creating a fully immersive, high-energy spectacle. Add in audience participation, call-backs, and plenty of surprises, and you’ll see why Rocky Horror has become the world’s most legendary interactive movie experience. Admission is free, but the club welcomes donations to support future programming. Dress up, bring your friends, and get ready to sing, dance and celebrate the night away.
