June and July Public Events

"How to Survive a Plague" Film Screening | June 17 | 12:30 p.m. | Welcome Center Miller Auditorium | Greeley Campus
The Multicultural Office for Student Affinity, Inclusion and Community (MOSAIC) hosts a screening of the award-winning documentary, “How to Survive a Plague.” It tells the story of ACT UP and TAG, activist groups that led a groundbreaking response to the AIDS crisis in the 1980s and '90s. During an intermission, lunch will be served and there will be an opportunity to discuss the first part of the film. At this event, Aims will enforce a clear bag policy to provide a safe environment for guests.

Juneteenth Celebration | June 18 | noon-2 p.m. | Gazebo Behind Ed Beaty Hall | Greeley Campus
The Multicultural Office for Student Affinity, Inclusion and Community (MOSAIC) invites you to celebrate and honor Juneteenth's historical and cultural significance. Connect with Aims students and the local community at a Juneteenth community event. Enjoy music, fun games, and check out a few local businesses. Learn more about Juneteenth through a 3-round historical bingo game and reflective chalk prompts. Have some delicious BBQ and refreshing summer snacks while supplies last.

Let’s Bike Day | June 25 | 7-10 a.m. | Greeley Campus
It’s time to tune up your bike for the annual Let's Bike Day (formerly called Bike to Work Day) event. Cyclists of all ages and abilities are encouraged to bike wherever they can and participate in the festivities. Aims Community College hosts a breakfast station at the 16th Street and 47th Avenue entrance.

Greeley Pride | June 28 | noon-5 p.m.| Welcome Center |Greeley Campus
Greeley Pride 2025 is a vibrant celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. The event is free and open to all ages. The festival is held indoors, offering a comfortable experience without the concerns of unpredictable weather. To help ensure a safe environment for all guests, Aims is implementing a clear bag policy at Greeley Pride. Event highlights include performances, activities, vendors, food trucks, workshops and more. 

Aims Car Show | July 12 | 8 a.m.-2 p.m. | Windsor Campus
Rev up your engines and join us for an unforgettable day of classic cars, live music, and family fun at the 15th annual Aims Car Show in Windsor. Whether you're a die-hard gearhead or appreciate the beauty of a well-maintained ride, this event is not to be missed. Vehicle entry and event attendance are free.

The inaugural 2025-2026 speaker season brings an exciting lineup of four change-making thought leaders to the greater Northern Colorado region. We invite you to join us to foster connections and inspire essential conversations about leadership growth in our community.
