Compliance Month

Please work with your supervisor to identify a College computer or other appropriate location where you can complete the training during your work hours.

Employees who are on an approved leave during Compliance Month will have two weeks from their return-to-work date to complete the required training.

If the required training is not completed by October 31, access to essential Aims systems will be temporarily disabled. Access to Workday Learning will remain available so you can complete the required training and restore system access.

Supervisors will have access to completion reports through Workday and will receive additional information regarding how to monitor employee completion before Compliance Month begins.

Yes. Compliance Month training is required for all Aims employees, including full-time, part-time, seasonal, adjunct and student employees.

Yes. Student employees are required to complete the assigned compliance training. Failure to complete the training by October 31 will result in the loss of access to both employment-related Aims systems and student-related Aims systems until the training requirement is met.

Simply log back into Workday Learning. Your progress will be saved, and you can continue where you left off.  

If your account has been disabled due to non-completion of the training, you will still be able to access Workday Learning to complete the required modules. If you need additional assistance, please email compliance.training@aims.edu.

Yes. Supervisors are expected to encourage timely completion of the required training, monitor employee progress and support employees in completing the training by the established deadline.

Absolutely! We encourage departments to schedule time for employees to complete the training together. However, each employee must complete the training individually on their own computer so their progress and completion can be accurately tracked.

No. Supervisors are not authorized to grant additional time for completing the required training. If an unforeseen emergency arises, please email compliance.training@aims.edu to discuss the situation.

The required training takes no more than six hours to complete and is available throughout the entire month of October. The 30-day completion window was established to provide departments with flexibility while minimizing operational disruptions. Supervisors are encouraged to plan ahead and schedule employee training time throughout the month.
