For advising, academic programs are organized into career pathways, each with their own specialized advising team. Students will be assigned an student success coach with their chosen pathway once they have been admitted to Aims.

Advising is now by appointment year-round — no more peak advising! That means you can (and should!) meet with your Success Coach early to plan for Spring 2026 registration.

👉 Schedule your advising appointment now to get your classes locked in early!

✅ Pro Tip: Build your course wish list with your Success Coach before your registration window opens so you're ready to go!

Don’t wait until December or January — plan ahead, get support early, and stay on track!

💬 Need Help Fast? Drop-Ins — Year-Round!

Starting October 1, 2025, Success Coaches will offer weekly drop-in hours throughout the year.

🚫 Drop-Ins Are Not For:

  • New Students
  • Academic planning or course selection
  • Registration planning or support
  • Probation or suspension re-entry
  • Career guidance

✔️ Drop-Ins Are Great For:

  • Quick, non-complex questions
  • Emergency situations
  • Quick schedule adjustments (drop, course canceled, withdraw)
  • Clarifying academic policies
  • Basic questions about graduation requirements

Drop-ins are limited to 15 minutes, first come, first served.
