Career Pathways

Please note, not all courses and programs are available on all campuses. Depending on the program, some coursework may be available remotely or online.

The Agriculture and Energy Pathway focuses on the production, processing, marketing, distribution, financing and development of agricultural and energy commodities and resources, including plant and animal products, natural resources, and fossil fuel and renewable resources.

Agriculture and Energy Pathway Degrees and Certificates

This diverse pathway prepares learners for careers that require very skilled labor. From designing, creating and maintaining structures, to diagnosing and repairing vehicles, to flying commercial jets, the Technical Sciences and Skilled Trades pathways offers many opportunities for students to gain technical knowledge.

Technical Sciences & Skilled Trades Pathway Degrees and Certificates

The STEM, Arts & Communication Pathway focuses on careers in creating, designing, performing,  and publishing multimedia content, including visual and performing arts and design, journalism and entertainment services. Students interested in Information Technology will gain skills related to designing, supporting and managing hardware, software, multimedia and systems integration. Coursework may be available for programs not listed (ie. Engineering).  

STEM, Arts & Communication Pathway Degrees and Certificates

The Business Pathway prepares learners for careers in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating business functions essential to efficient and productive business operations. Students will find opportunities in management, administration, financial and investment planning, banking, insurance and business financial management.

Business Pathway Degrees and Certificates

This pathway orients students to careers that promote health and safety in their communities. Health Science students gain knowledge around wellness and diagnosis, therapeutic services, and biotechnology research and development. Learners interested in public safety will find opportunities in fire service, and local, state, and federal agencies. 

Health Science, Criminal Justice & Public Safety Degrees and Certificates

This pathway prepares students for employment to families and human needs by gaining knowledge related to social institutions and culture, human behavior and learning patterns.
