April McClure has been teaching at Aims since 2015. She double majored in both Speech Communications and Theatre. She is the recipient of the FRCC John Jenkins Master Teacher Award for 2008-2009; a student-nominated award.
Personal Interests
Maya Angelou once said, I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." This quote resonates with April because she brings to her classroom the energy and verve that motivates students to get excited, connect, and learn. April feels that students may not remember everything that you teach them, but they will get excited about their experience in your classroom and the impact that you made.
