Professional background
Marcus has been an avid mathematician his whole life. He started his academic journey with an associate degree from his local community college in upstate New York. From there he continued on to complete a bachelor's and master's degree from two state universities in the SUNY system of New York. After finishing his degrees, Marcus began working at a community college in rural upstate NY before eventually relocating to Colorado with his wife during the COVID-19 pandemic. Marcus began working at Aims Community College in the fall of 2022 and he hopes to continue to bring his passion for mathematics to his students here at Aims!
Personal interests
Marcus spends his time outside the classroom hiking with his wife, playing video games, and studying additional mathematics for his own benefit.
