Professional Background

Professor Darooka moved to Colorado in Fall 2018 to join the esteemed faculty of Aims Community College and has taught College Algebra, Introduction to Statistics, College Trigonometry, Math for Liberal Arts, and other courses at the Fort Lupton campus. The professor started teaching Mathematics as a graduate assistant in Fall 2004 and began working as a full-time instructor in Fall 2006. Additionally, she worked as a Mathematics tutor from Fall 2001 to Summer 2005 while in graduate school, helping tutor students with learning disabilities. Professor Darooka is passionate and enthusiastic about teaching Mathematics and assisting students to gain skills to be successful in their academic pursuits & future endeavors.

Personal Interests

In her personal life, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and reading. She hopes to visit as many places in Colorado as possible. We do have majestic and picturesque mountains here, after all.
