Aims Workforce Innovation Center – Greeley Campus

Opening January 2027

The Aims Workforce Innovation Center (AWIC) is a state-of-the-art hub for talent, technology, and economic opportunity — right in the heart of Weld County. Located on the northeast end of the Aims Greeley Campus, the AWIC is designed to fuel innovation, connect industry with education, and inspire the next generation of thinkers and doers.

The AWIC’s design encourages collaboration between learners and businesses in shared spaces, creating an environment where education and industry connect seamlessly. With 49,500 square feet of adaptable space, high data capacity, and innovative building materials, AWIC is built to grow with our community's needs and the technologies of tomorrow.

Key features of the AWIC include:

Experiential Learning Laboratories

The facility provides multiple spaces for Aims students, employees, and the broader community to experience and learn on cutting-edge technology, including virtual and augmented reality.

Emerging Technology Exhibits

These interactive exhibits offer firsthand exposure to cutting-edge tools and industrial evolutions. Visitors engage directly with new forms of interaction — from conversational AI and real-time data systems to advanced robotics, demystifying emerging technologies and highlighting their practical, real-world impacts on regional jobs.

Innovation Spaces

Part of the AWIC will serve as Weld County's first innovation hub — a dynamic space where businesses can access high-tech work bays to bring bold ideas to life. This will be a catalyst for regional economic development, giving entrepreneurs and industry leaders the space and tools to thrive.
