Aims Physical Education and Recreation Center Community Days| January 5-17| Physical Education and Recreation Center | Greeley Campus

The Aims Physical Education and Recreation Center (PERC) is open to the community between the semesters. The facility features a spin studio, cardio theater, strength and conditioning equipment, a cross-training center, an indoor track, a basketball court, racquetball courts and more. Community members 18 and older can use the PERC during the break. Ages 12-17 are welcome with an adult.  An ID is required for entry and a waiver must be signed at check-in.

Aims Community College will commemorate its 59th birthday with a community celebration. Aims Day offers an opportunity for community members and local leaders to engage with Aims administrators, faculty, staff and students. The institution will highlight its impact and future initiatives. Attendees will gain insights into the college's contributions to education and workforce development in Northern Colorado. Interactive activities will be on-site to spotlight state-of-the-art technology and programs. A sit-down lunch will be provided for attendees. Registration is required by Friday, January 16. 

Aims Community Theater Group Auditions: “Side Show” | January 23-24 | Ed Beaty Hall Theater | Greeley Campus
The Aims Community Theater Group is holding auditions for its Spring 2026 musical production, “Side Show.” Everyone is welcome to audition. Visit aims.co/act-auditions to sign up. Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song selection that highlights your range and ability. An accompanist will be provided.

MLK Luncheon: Dr. King’s Economic Justice Vision | January 28 | Noon - 2:30 p.m. | Welcome Center | Greeley Campus
This MLK Luncheon brings Dr. Martin Luther King’s fight for economic justice into today’s world with keynote speaker Dr. Dwinita Mosby Tyler, who will break down how the Poor People’s Campaign connects to current real-life issues, such as money, opportunity and equity. Expect an engaging talk, honest conversation, and practical takeaways you can actually use. Plus, enjoy free food while exploring valuable community resources and information tables packed with support, opportunities, and ways to enhance your college experience.

Tax Help Colorado
Aims Community College offers free tax preparation and e-filing assistance through the Tax Help Colorado program. Individuals and households with annual incomes of less than $70,000 in 2025 can participate at no cost and receive assistance from IRS-certified Aims students and community volunteers. Sites are operated on a first-come-first-served basis.
