Regional Job Fair | October 7 | 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. | Public Safety Institute CPAT Bay | Windsor Campus
The Aims Windsor Campus is partnering with the Economic Development departments of Windsor and Johnstown to host a Regional Job Fair. Aims students and the public are encouraged to attend.

National Fossil Day | October 8 | 1:30-3:30 p.m. | Allied Health & Sciences, 111 | Greeley Campus
Join us for the second year of National Fossil Day here at Aims Community College. Enter into the captivating world of the extinct, as you learn about fossils and the story of life on Earth from a paleontologist. Get a chance to see unique fossils, both local and from around the world. No need to go to the museum when the museum has come to Aims. 

Open Mic Event | October 15 | 4:30-6:30 p.m. | Ed Beaty Hall Theater | Greeley Campus
Join the Aims music department, your peers and community for a fun afternoon of impromptu open mic performances. Participants are invited to share their talents through musical performances, poetry or other creative expressions. Microphones, amplifiers, a drum kit and an acoustic piano will be provided on stage. This event is free and open to the public.

Ransom Notes Artist Reception | October 21| 4:30-6 p.m. | Ed Beaty Hall Gallery | Greeley Campus
The latest Ed Beaty Hall Art Exhibit, "Ransom Notes," features work by Aims Art faculty member H. Bryan Stinson from October 19 to December 10. Gallery open hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. An Artist's Reception is held on October 21.

An Evening with Ken Salazar |October 21 | 5-7 p.m. | Welcome Center Auditorium | Greeley Campus
Join us for a compelling conversation with fifth-generation Coloradan, former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, and U.S. Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar. As Colorado's first Latino Attorney General and U.S. Senator, Ken Salazar shares powerful insights from his historic career in public service and highlights from his new book, "Borderlands: My Fight for an Inclusive America." Don't miss this opportunity to hear his unique perspective on conservation, civil rights, and building a more inclusive future for America. Books will be available for purchase, with a book signing after the presentation. 

Northern Colorado Allied Health Summit | October 23 | 8 a.m.-1 p.m. | Welcome Center Ballrooms | Greeley Campus | $50 for professionals, $35 for preceptors and instructors, $20 for students and alumni
The Northern Colorado Allied Health Collaborative Summit is a premier one-day gathering for healthcare professionals, educators and students across the region. Hosted by Aims Community College, the summit brings together healthcare professionals on the front lines for a day of networking, expert-led learning, and cross-disciplinary growth. The keynote speaker is Dr. Beth Longenecker, the founding dean of the University of Northern Colorado’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.

18th Annual Animation Show of Shows | October 23 | 2- 4:30 p.m. | Ed Beaty Hall Theater | Greeley Campus
Join the Aims Community College Graphic Design & Rich Media Department for a special screening of the 18th Annual Animation Show of Shows. Largely crowd-funded through a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, it represents the enthusiasm and commitment of 550 individual contributors from around the world. The show features 17 films, including Disney/Pixar's Academy Award-winning "Piper," Oscar-nominated "Pearl," and "About a Mother," a new folktale with echoes of Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree."

FAFSA Fest | October 28 | 4:30-7:30 p.m. | Welcome Center Ballrooms | Greeley Campus
Join the Aims, UNC and District 6 for FAFSA Fest - Fright Night. Get hands-on support with creating your FSA ID, completing the FAFSA or CASFA application, exploring our trick-or-treat community resource tables, and enjoying free food while you’re here. Students, parents, friends and family are welcome. Get the help you need and make paying for school easier.

Trick or Trot Run partisipants in costumes

Trick or Trot 5K | October 29 | 10 a.m.- noon | Between Student Commons and Allied Health Buildings | Greeley Campus
Join for a spooktacular run filled with fun, costume contests and prizes for top finishers. Enjoy free food, photo ops and Halloween cheer. This 5K is open to the community. Participants will need to register for the event and sign a participation waiver. 

Craft-O-Ween | October 29 & 30 | 1-5 p.m. | Applied Technology and Trades Center Community Lab | Greeley Campus
The Community Lab invites you to our Craft-O-Ween event in the Applied Technology and Trades Center Community Lab. Get into the Halloween spirit with friends and creativity. Projects include pumpkin crafting and painting, decoration crafting, costume aid and free candy.
