  • Practical Nursing Certificate

    Certificate
    This optional 4-credit certificate course allows you to transition out of the nursing associate degree program by earning a practical nursing certificate. Study the scope of practice for a practical nurse, including communication, ethical and legal issues, and leadership skills while gaining experience in a clinical setting.

    Upon passing this certificate course, you’ll be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN exam to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Students need to be enrolled in or have completed a nursing program to register for this certificate.

  • Project Estimating Certificate

    Certificate
    Gain skills in blueprint reading and cost analysis related to construction management. Learn how to interpret blueprints and other building trades and architecture documents and study estimating techniques used to verify the cost and time requirements for building construction projects.

    Associate of Arts
    Along with general requirements to prepare you to transfer to a bachelor's degree at a 4-year school, study the science of behavior including motivation, emotion, physiological psychology, stress and coping, research methods, consciousness, sensation, perception, learning, and memory. Learn about cognition, language, intelligence, psychological assessment, personality, abnormal psychology, therapy, life span development, sex, gender, sexuality, and social psychology and choose from specialty psych courses including death and dying, growth and development and abnormal psychology. This is a liberal arts associate of arts (A.A.) degree with designation (DWD).

    Along with general requirements to prepare you to transfer to a bachelor's degree at a 4-year school, study the science of behavior including motivation, emotion, physiological psychology, stress and coping, research methods, consciousness, sensation, perception, learning, and memory. Learn about cognition, language, intelligence, psychological assessment, personality, abnormal psychology, therapy, life span development, sex, gender, sexuality, and social psychology.   • Public Health

    Associate of Arts
    Along with general requirements to prepare for transfer to a bachelor's degree at a 4-year school, study the academic discipline of public health. Students gain an understanding of how to confront systemic health challenges to provide optimal health to whole populations in courses which provide an introduction to the knowledge required for careers in community and public health. This is a liberal arts degree with designation (DWD).

  • Radio Production

    Associate of Applied Science
    Study the history and function of radio in society as well as radio formats, communication systems, and the types of broadcasting and production equipment used today. Three out of four semesters are spent in the studio using radio station equipment and hosting shows on Aims Student Radio to prepare you to launch your radio career.

  • Radio Production Level I Certificate

    Certificate
    Develop fundamental skills in programming and broadcasting and get practical insights for starting a radio career. Learn the basics of radio programming, announcing for radio and TV, and delve into different radio formats including news and sports and learn how to find a radio job.

  • Radio Production Level II Certificate

    Certificate
    This two-class interactive lab format teaches you how to use basic radio production equipment and how to do simulated broadcasts. Study different types of programming and formats like news and sports and create an audition tape.

  • Radiologic Technology

    Associate of Applied Science
    Learn the fundamentals of radiologic equipment, anatomy and disease pathology, radiographic terminology, safety standards and techniques, radiologic procedures and radiographic specialties including pediatrics, geriatrics and trauma. Note: you must have an associate degree in radiologic technology to apply for the mammography certificate program. This class is offered online only with two days of hands-on positioning on the Greeley Campus that are required. Clinical internships follow until students complete a minimum of 120 exams. Students should plan to drive up to a hour in both directions to attend clinical rotations.
