    Take the first step toward Police Officer Certification and earn a Peace Officer Academy certificate at Aims. This one-semester, full-time program is accredited by the Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) board. Get expert training in arrest control, emergency driving and investigative techniques, preparing you to take the POST exam, which is required to become a certified peace officer in Colorado. Please note that the Aims Peace Officer Academy is open only to sponsored cadets who are hired or endorsed by a law enforcement agency.

    An Aviation Powerplant technician, also known as a Powerplant mechanic or part of an A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) mechanic certification, specializes in the inspection, repair and maintenance of aircraft engines and their components to meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) safety standards.

    This certification requires the student to take the FAA Powerplant Test, which includes a written, oral and practical component administered by an FAA Designated Mechanic Examiner. Candidates must pass all sections to be eligible for the certificate

    This certificate program teaches you the core skills to become an aircraft power plant maintenance technician. Learn the tools, materials and processes to inspect and repair aviation powerplant systems, including reciprocating engines and turbine engines and their associated systems.

  • Practical Nursing Certificate
