With over 20 years as a working professional creative, David has served at a newspaper (Illustrator), nationally known advertising agencies (Graphic Designer, Motion Graphic Artist, Web Designer/Developer), City/County Government (Graphic Artist, Web Specialist & Manager).
While David has worked with notable brands like Otterbox, GE (Aviation), Ameritas, Universal Pictures (Lorax, Minons), Sony (Inpop Records), and also collegiate brands such as CSU and CU Boulder, he is most fulfilled when his time and talents have a greater impact in peoples lives within non-profits, small businesses, civic institutions and with students who seek transformative growth through the empowering process and practice that is visual and interactive design.
Teaching Background
Soon after graduating himself, David started teaching in order to share his working knowledge with others (while continually learning himself). He has taught many design courses including Design Principles, Photoshop I, Cinema 4D, Flash Action-Scripting, Web Design I & II, Web & Motion Design I, Intro to Visual Communication, Business for Creatives, Design and Concept, Design & Color, Typography & Layout, Adobe Illustrator I & II, and Graphic Design Production 1, 2, & 3.
