Jefferson Senior High School partners with Aims so students can take concurrent enrollment construction management courses to earn college credit in high school.

Earn College Credit at Jefferson Senior High

Jefferson Senior High School is located in Greeley and is a part of Greeley Evans School District and offers students several CTE pathways at their location and at Aims Community College. Jefferson’s concurrent enrollment partnership with Aims offers a construction management program with an integrated course schedule of learning that allows students to earn college credit in high school and get a jump start on their future.

AEC 2700 - International Building Codes

A study is made of the restrictions, standards, and requirements that in the interest of public safety and welfare have been established by law to govern the construction of buildings and their materials. Specifications are developed to describe building materials to be furnished and how they are to be installed. Course is not repeatable for credit.

CNG 1020 - A+ Certification Preparation

Prepares students for the CompTIA A+ certification examination. PC hardware and operating system installation, configuration and troubleshooting are practiced and reviewed using A+ techniques. Course is not repeatable for credit.

CNG 2058 - Digital Forensics

Exposes the student to the field of digital computer forensics and investigation. This class provides the student with methods to properly conduct a digital forensics investigation including a discussion of ethics. Topics covered include fundamental concepts, history of computer forensics, file structures, data recovery techniques, computer forensic tools and analyses. Course is not repeatable for credit.

CON 1062 - National Center for Construction Education & Research Electrical I

Introduces the fundamentals of electrical trades and practices in residential application. Topics in this course include orientation to the electrical trade, electrical safety, basic electrical circuits, electrical theory, introduction to the National Electrical Code, device boxes, raceways and fittings, conductors and cables, basic electrical construction drawings, residential electrical services, electrical test equipment, and basic installation techniques. Course is not repeatable for credit.

EDU 2088 - Practicum II

Provides students with the opportunity to supplement coursework with practical work experience related to their educational program. Students work under the immediate supervision of experienced personnel at the education facility and with the direct guidance of the instructor. Course is repeatable with a maximum of 12 credit hours.
