  • Learn various foundational skills that support the work animators do, including digital effects, sound design, sculpting for digital media and motion graphic design. All course credits for this two-semester certificate can apply toward the two-year animation degree program at Aims.
  • Learn about construction management in the fields of renewable and sustainable design and construction. Study solar, geothermal and wind renewable energy construction, LEED certification, passive thermal architecture, super insulation and tight envelopes.
  • After completing the nurse aide certificate program, develop the skills and knowledge to find a job in healthcare. Study health career options and readiness and enhance your nurse aide healthcare and clinical skills.
  • History

    Associate of Arts
    Study events, peoples, groups, ideas, institutions and trends that have shaped World History, Western Civilization, and North America and the United States to the present. Learn about these time periods through the perspectives of gender, class, and ethnicity while developing, practicing and strengthening the skills historians use while constructing knowledge in this discipline. This is a liberal arts degree with designation (DWD).
  • Industrial Technology

    Associate of Applied Science
    Learn about electrical processes, energy technologies, automation, business ethics and values, manufacturing, teamwork and process technology. The Aims industrial technology program has six themed labs where you can deepen your learning with hands-on experience in specific aspects of manufacturing.
  • This certificate is offered exclusively to high school students enrolled in the College in High School program. Earn six college credits while in high school by studying the basics of allied health careers, medical terminology and emergency responses.
  • This certificate gives you an overview of using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software tools and techniques. Learn the Cartesian coordinate system, drawing templates, linetype and lineweights, layers, parametric feature-based solid modeling concepts and more.
  • Experience what it takes to work in a public-facing customer service position. Gain skills in time management, team building, human relations in organizations, stress management and leadership as they relate to customer service.
  • Receive a comprehensive education in energy technologies and petroleum fundamentals in use today. Students will also learn how to thrive in an oil and gas organization by understanding principles that lead to success such as business ethics, time management and team building.
