Register and check your contact information so you don’t miss emergency notifications from Aims Community College. Registering your contact information will also allow you to receive weather and emergency closure information. 

Get Rave Emergency Alerts

The Aims Guardian app is a free service offered to all students, faculty and staff of Aims on iPhone and Android smartphones to improve safety on- and off-campus.

If your emergency is life-threatening always call 911 first.

Use the Rave Guardian app to:

• Call 911
• Contact Campus Security
• Request a virtual escort when you travel across campus alone
• Report incidents and safety concerns

If you require an in-person escort, you can also call Campus Security at the appropriate location (phone numbers are listed on the sidebar). 

Download the free Rave Guardian app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store. You will already have this app on your phone if you downloaded the Aims College App and can open or install it by touching the Guardian icon.

Or search in the app stores for Rave Guardian.

Use your Aims email address when installing the app to connect to Aims Guardian. You will be asked to create a password and a four-digit PIN. Remember the PIN, as you will need it to activate and deactivate your safety timer.

Aims has yellow Alert Beacons positioned in every building on all campuses. During an emergency situation, you can check these beacons for status information. 

Alert Beacons will operate during power, internet and cell phone outages and are also compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), with both visual and audio alert information.

Safety tip: Keep track of where these yellow Alert Beacons are situated in buildings you frequent on campus so you'll know where to look during an emergency.
