Orientation Designed for Where You Are

Starting college can be overwhelming. That's why Aims offers new student orientation events that you can attend based on your needs. While not required, attending orientation is strongly encouraged to help you start strong as an Aims student.

You can attend any or all three of the Find Your Aims events. Check out the upcoming orientation events below and sign up for the ones that work for you.

    Jumpstart - June 9, 2026

    If you need some help completing the registration process, Jumpstart is the event for you. Sign up for Jumpstart if you haven't scheduled an Advising appointment or have any registration onboarding holds or incomplete tasks. You're not behind--Jumpstart will help you find what you need to start college with confidence.

    Welcome Home - July 8, 2026

    If you've completed registration and are ready to attend orientation that meets your needs, Welcome Home is your event. Open to all students registered for the Fall semester, here is where you'll discover why you belong at Aims.

    Liftoff - August 21, 2026

    Liftoff is open to all enrolled Aims students, with a practical focus on the day-to-day details like parking, walking class schedules, finding buildings and connecting with last-minute services. Get everything you need to start strong!
