Aims Workforce Innovation Center Hits Construction Milestone

Aims Community College held a beam-signing ceremony to mark a construction milestone for its Workforce Innovation Center in Greeley. Attendees signed the final wooden and metal structural beams before they were hoisted into place. College leaders and representatives from Alquist 3D, OZ Architecture and Roche Constructors spoke at the event.

The Federal Aviation Administration is in the process of trying to hire more air traffic control operators amid a nationwide shortage. Aims Community College in Northern Colorado has become the eleventh college in the country approved to help train and graduate air traffic controllers.

Registration to Start for College for Kids

Aims Community College will open enrollment for its summertime College for Kids program on Tuesday, March 24. Since 1981, the Aims College for Kids program has presented opportunities to explore new subjects, develop skills and engage in hands-on learning.

Aims Community College Reports $395 Million in Economic Impact in Weld, Larimer Counties

Aims Community College has announced that a study indicates the school generated $395 million in economic impact across Weld and Larimer counties during the 2023-24 academic year, supporting 5,645 jobs and accounting for approximately 1% of the region’s gross regional product.

Aims Community College Approved for Enhanced Training Program for Air Traffic Controllers

Aims will now offer the Enhanced Air Traffic – Collegiate Training Initiative, also known as E-CTI. The E-CTI is a part of the Air Traffic-Collegiate Initiative Program between selected colleges and universities in the U.S. and the Federal Aviation Administration.
