Aims Community College Fall Commencement 2025

At the Fall 2025 commencement, there were 155 students who participated in the official ceremonies, with 591 students graduating, earning 891 credentials. Graduates range in age from 15 to 71.

The large volume of projects ahead of Alquist caps a year of rapid growth for the company. The company continues to work with Aims Community College and other residential builders to train the workforce of the future and advance sustainable building solutions.

Arty’s Pantry Hands out Thanksgiving Meals with Help from Weld Food Bank

The Arty's Pantry partners with the Weld Food Bank to supply students in need with turkeys and sides. Each holiday meal includes a frozen 15-pound turkey and 5-pound bags of potatoes and onions.

The Aims Community Theatre Group presents Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece Cat on a Hot Tin Roof this November at the Aims Community College Ed Beaty Hall.

Aims Community College in Greeley is partnering with the Patton Veteran Project to host a film workshop specifically designed for women veterans, along with a film festival scheduled for November.

Aims Community College Launches First Study Abroad Program

A group of students will travel to Ireland from June 6 to June 16, visiting several areas of the country. Students can study abroad as part of four programs: Introduction to Archaeology, Psychology of Death and Dying, Western Civilization and World Mythology.

Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame Honors New 2025 Inductees

The Hall of Fame event celebrates service, mentorship, and preservation in Colorado's aviation legacy. The 2025 inductees include flight instructor and professor William “Bill” Standerfer, currently teaching at Aims Community College.

Northern Colorado Pilot, Aims Professor to be Inducted into Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame

A local pilot and teacher at Aims Community College, Bill Standerfer, is being inducted into the Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame. He's logged 3,300 hours since he started flying in 1970. He's a teacher at Aims Community College and is being recognized for his contributions to the field.

Aims Community College and UNC Renew Aims2UNC Transition Program

Aims Community College and the University of Northern Colorado have renewed their partnership for the Aims2UNC transition program. The program started in 2019 and allows students to enroll simultaneously in the schools, earning an associate degree from Aims and a bachelor’s degree from UNC.

Aims Community College made the list of the Best Hispanic-Serving Colleges in the two-year schools category. A Hispanic-Serving Institution is a college with a total Hispanic undergraduate enrollment of 25% or more.

3D-Printed Homes Transform Colorado Housing Market

Greeley-based Alquist 3D has printed the largest 3D-printed concrete commercial building in the U.S., an 8,000-square-foot project on a Walmart in Tennessee. To foster the workforce, the company has partnered with Aims Community College on a certificate program for 3D concrete printing.
