December 1, 2026: Study Abroad Eligibility Screening Deadline
Students must complete the Eligibility Screening and be approved for the study abroad program prior to enrolling in the courses offered. Courses are capped at 10 students each. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline and courses may fill prior to this deadline. Students are encouraged to complete this step early.
February 1, 2027: Student Traveler Profile
Once the Eligibility Screening is approved, students will receive a link to complete this form. Study abroad seats will be reserved for students once this step is complete. If courses fill prior to this deadline, students will be placed on a waitlist.
This step includes the following requirements:
- Copy of Passport: Students will upload a copy of their passport valid through December 2027. Students who do not have a valid passport by this date will not be enrolled in the program.
- Nonrefundable Deposit: Students must place a $100 deposit to reserve their seat in the study abroad program.
- Course selection: Students will select 1-2 study abroad courses.
Cancellation Deadline: TBD
Students who have enrolled in a study abroad course and no longer wish to participate must submit a cancellation request by the date listed above. If a cancellation request is not received, the student will be responsible for paying the balance due for enrollment.
April 10, 2027: Pre-Departure Orientation
Students are required to attend a pre-departure orientation. Students who do not attend this orientation will not be permitted to travel.
June 1, 2027: First day of courses
Courses may begin prior to the travel dates. Be sure to stay on top of any reading, homework, or other activities required by your instructor.
June 1-14, 2027: Japan Travel Dates
Students are responsible for arriving at the Denver International Airport no less than three hours before our flight departs. All students and faculty will fly together. Flight information will be provided several weeks before departure.
June 19-July 2, 2027: Ireland Travel Dates
Students are responsible for arriving at the Denver International Airport no less than three hours before our flight departs. All students and faculty will fly together. Flight information will be provided several weeks before departure.
Student Showcase: TBD
Students are required to participate in an in-person student showcase demonstrating what they have learned through this program. All courses will include this project as part of your final grade.
