The coursework for the math associate degree will prepare you to successfully transfer to a participating four-year Colorado school to complete your bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Study a core math curriculum with subjects including:
- Calculus (three semesters)
- Computer science (one semester)
Note that College Algebra and Trigonometry are prerequisites for this degree program. These courses can count as electives toward your degree.
General education requirements and electives will round out your learning experience and reinforce the practical soft skills employers desire. Study subjects including statistics, differential equations, and philosophy. Your instructors may recommend that you take as many math courses as possible to prepare you to transfer to your four-year college or university.
