You must be a current Aims student and show a valid photo ID to check out a laptop, tablet or hotspot. Devices are reserved for checkout on a first-come, first-served basis and a staff member will contact you once your reserved materials are available. Laptops, hot spots, calculators, and other items are available for short-term usage or for semester-long check-out.
All hotspots are made available by Verizon services, please double-check to ensure it will work in your area.
You must be a current Aims instructor or staff member to check out technology. From the Aims Help client portal, select 'Hardware, Printers, and Phones' --> 'Request a Service' --> 'Device/Equipment Checkout (Student, Workstudy, Part-time Employee, Adjunct Faculty, Contingent Worker)
To check out reserved textbooks, please visit the Learning Commons during our open hours. You can browse available textbooks here. Please note that the Learning Commons does not provide eTextbooks or course codes. You can also contact us with textbook-related questions or requests by calling 970-339-6458.
Textbooks can be borrowed for three hours or one week on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please remember that borrowing a textbook from the Learning Commons is a stop-gap method for students waiting for textbooks to arrive.
