Aims recently received a donation from Weld Community Credit Union to fund an on-campus food bank, Arty’s Pantry. The WCCU contributed $535.40 in cash and in-kind donations of food and supplies. Arty’s Pantry provides any enrolled Aims student with groceries, personal hygiene products and school supplies, no questions asked.
Aims Community College held a topping-out ceremony to celebrate the progress made on expanding its Windsor Campus on July 11. The event included speakers, a beam signing and hoisting onto the new academic building.
Three Aims Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing Program students competed in the SkillsUSA National Competition held June 22-23 in Atlanta. This grows the Automotive SkillsUSA National medal count to 11 podium finishes and seven National Championships in the ten years Aims has been competing.
Thank you to all who attended the alumni event at the 100th anniversary of the Greeley Stampede. We enjoyed the BBQ dinner, Pro-Rodeo Finals, line dancing lessons, and connecting with our fellow Aardvarks.
Aims Community College partnered with Loveland Youth Gardeners during the 2021-2022 academic year. This project became a win for all involved. It cultivated a community partnership, provided much-needed features for a community garden and created a unique learning experience for Aims students.
