    Aims Welcome Center Recognized as One of the Top Building Projects in Colorado

    Aims Community College’s Welcome Center won Silver in the 2022 ACE  Best General Contractor Building Project by Associated General Contractors of Colorado. Peers in the construction industry vote on the ACE awards. The Welcome Center beat out Bronze recipient Meow Wolf Convergence Station in Denver and placed second to Lone Rock Retreat in Bailey.

    Aims Community College to Offer its First Bachelor’s Degree in Spring 2023

    Aims Community College will begin offering a Public Safety Bachelor of Applied Science degree in the Spring 2023 semester. This is the college’s first bachelor’s degree program. The program was created to meet an industry need for a bachelor’s degree in public safety. Many municipalities and public safety agencies now require a bachelor’s degree or higher when offering promotions to upper-level positions such as chief or division manager.

    Aims Community College Goes “All In” to Fight Hunger

    During the holiday season, and throughout the year, Aims Community College makes it a priority to support students and the community when it comes to food security. This month, Aims is providing a number of Thanksgiving meal kits to students who need them and Aims employees are volunteering at the Weld County Food Bank. These are just a few of the ever-expanding efforts the college has adopted in recent years.

    Aims Community College students shot drone footage for two regional Toyota commercials this year. This opportunity allowed students to work with state-of-the-art equipment to create a professional-level production for a major national brand. Projects like this provide Aims students with professional and portfolio-building experiences that set them up to be marketable in the workforce.
